Update from 2020-21:
Continued loop-manipulation sustained into unseemly track durations. I have no self-control. Satisfied with all the processing (sample, effects, mixing); but the overall scope could stand to be honed in, the dynamics fleshed out in various places. Can't all be winners, but this one's close. C'est la vie.
My well of longform-timestretched-drone has run somewhat dry, and this piece made that abundantly clear, to the point where multiple other works and projects in a similar vein were subsequently placed on that dreaded backburner.
Gotta find some new tricks up my sleeve. All in due time.
Pennsylvania collective featuring current/former members of Saxon Shore. This little record here kindled my fascination with ambient music, for which I am eternally beholden. Gorgeous beyond belief. Matt Nichols
Saint Anne's always tear the lid of the joint with their intoxicating blend of blues, psychedelia, funk, and bonafide rock and roll. Hailing from my hometown of Lompoc. 805 REPRESENT. Matt Nichols
